Most veterinary clinics and all veterinary hospitals are equipped to provide stitches and other treatment associated with lacerations in dogs. In serious cases your dog may need to be put under anesthesia in order to properly treat a laceration or wound. For deep wounds antibiotics may be administered to prevent bacterial infections.
