Companion protect offer one, simple accident and illness policy that covers unexpected injuries and illnesses. The plan includes a $100 deductible and 80% reimbursement. One thing that makes Companion Protect unique is that they rate plans based on your zip code and your pets age, but not their breed.

We ran some quotes and the price for a 2 year-old dog is $48/month and the price for a three year-old cat is $24/month (using zip code 43221). One thing that makes Companion Protect unique is that they don’t price their plans based on breed, so it can be a better value for pet parents with breeds that are a bit more susceptible to potential health issues.
