Fetch Pet Insurance

Fetch offers comprehensive insurance for dogs and cats. Unlike many pet insurance providers, Fetch has a single policy. The policy covers emergency veterinary exams, exam fees, non-routine dental care, and holistic health services like homeopathy, acupuncture, chiropractic, and hydrotherapy. As an optional add-on to their policy, Fetch offers routine and preventative care coverage.

With Fetch, you can visit any vet in the U.S. or Canada, including specialists and emergency clinics. No matter how old your cat or dog gets, Fetch will never drop your coverage. That means you can keep veterinary prices low even as your pet ages. Plus, Fetch provides flexibility with your reimbursement rate, annual limit, and deductible.

Policy Exclusions

Fetch Pet Insurance covers future accidents and illnesses — the stuff you can’t see coming. Here’s everything you need to know about what we don’t cover.

Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
A pre-existing condition is any accident or illness that occurred or your pet showed clinical signs of before you enrolled, during the waiting period of up to 15 days, or before your pet’s first exam. Fetch offers the most comprehensive coverage in the U.S. and Canada for new accidents and illnesses, but like most other providers, we don’t cover pre-existing conditions.

Claims filed more than 90 days after treatment are not covered.
Remember to submit claims within 90 days from the date on your pet’s invoice to be eligible for reimbursement. Claims submitted after 90 days won’t be covered.

Prescription food is not covered.
We cover supplements that are recommended by your vet as treatment for a covered condition, but not prescription food.

Grooming and cosmetic procedures are not covered.
We do not cover grooming or cosmetic surgical procedures such as tail docking, ear trimming or declawing.
