Two Great Options

One thing that Fetch and Embrace share in common is excellent customer service ratings. Both companies have been top-tier service providers for well over a decade. But aside from great customer service, Fetch and Embrace are very different.

Fetch offers one simple accident and illness plan that covers unexpected health issues. You can add some bells and whistles and customize your payment, but it’s fairly straightforward.

Embrace, on the other hand, offers the most customized options in the pet insurance market today. You can just about create your own plan to your exact specifications. Or, if you’re feeling lazy, you can take their recommended option.

Fetch Pet Insurance

Fetch’s accident and illness plan is fairly simple and straightforward. It will cover your pet’s unexpected health issues, and you also have the option to further customize it for additional coverage. For example, Fetch pet insurance can also cover the advertising costs needed for lost pets and even vacations that need to be canceled due to an ill pet.

Embrace Pet Insurance

This pet insurance is one of the most customizable offerings currently on the market. You can certainly opt for a simple, straightforward plan similar to Fetch that covers all accidents and illnesses, or you can personalize your plan according to your needs and those of your pet. The annual maximum, deductible, and reimbursement percentage can all be customized.

  • Deductible: $200 – $1,000
  • Reimbursement: 70%–90%
  • Emergency Care: Included
  • Waiting period for accidents: None
  • Waiting period for illnesses: 14 days

Coverage Comparison

Both Embrace pet insurance and Fetch cover just about everything and offer an optional wellness product. However, Fetch Pet Insurance covers the cost to board your pet at a licensed facility when you’re hospitalized for 4 days or more, and you’re covered up to $1,000 per year. Embrace doesn’t cover boarding fees, so if you’re ever hospitalized, you’ll likely need to find someone else to take care of your pet or pay boarding fees out of pocket.

Price Comparison

For a reputable and reliable pet insurance option, you can’t go wrong with either Fetch or Embrace. However, if you would like the ability to adjust your plan to suit your needs and budget, Embrace offers plenty of options.
